Just a mod I did for my friend. I Posted this on 4Chan some time ago, so I might as well so you guys.

New Heat-sinks, an added fan for extra cooling, removed most of the un-needed metal shit inside, and enabled NTSC/JAP play-ability.

Not the best, but it was fun working on it!:wink-new:

Somewhat. If you consider white and green Eagles Football Team colors, then yes.

I thought the colors were suppose to give it a Yoshi theme. Also, was the case fan really necessary? I've never even heard of a stock N64 overheating.

This specific one was having trouble in spaces like shelves. The fan adds more hours of play onto it now. Plus, since I am a OCD Computer builder, it is just my instinct to keep everything cool.

Easily? Just remove the cube shits inside the cart doors. Hard? Not exactly sure, I saw a guide for it somewhere. If I find a good one I will post it.

Making it so the cartridges will fit in the console doesn't allow it to boot every region.. N64 games are region locked by the CIC chip that's present on all N64 game's pcbs.

Also, why did you leave the controller ports grey?

That's what I did mean, all apologies. I was quite tired writing this, I'll edit it now.

It's all good, I was just pointing it out just incase your friend ended up getting annoyed if they tried a PAL game and it didn't work. Also, you might want to work on how you cut plastic, it looks like you attacked the case with an xacto knife, lol.

It does look nice. Did you change the power LED too? Every N64 I've ever seen has a red LED, but I'd prefer a green one - if you did change yours, would I just have to de-solder mu LED and replace it with a green one, or is there a specific LED I'd need, or what? Sorry, I'm very new to this, so if you have the time, please spell out exactly what LED I'd need and how to add it to my N64, thanks.
