Hey everyone. I'm just getting into playing around with Nintendo hardware... in a repair-take-apart kind of way. I've found approx 30-40 dead systems on the Internet (Craigslist) and got them for free or very cheap... You should see these sad machines when I first get them. I take them fully apart, repair them, clean them up as good as new, and sell them super cheap or give them away to friends. I like to view myself as a sort of super hero, raising broken systems from the dead! Hahaha... But really, it's a fun hobby and sometimes a challenge! I love learning how to fix things, especially when you get a system that looks like it belongs in a garbage dump, and the it gets restored to looking and working near-mint. Anyways I've been building up a small collection (at this time, 4 systems) of SNES consoles that I cannot fix no matter what I do. That's why I joined this forum, hoping to get advice and figure out how to fix these things. I want to learn whatever I can about the hardware, game carts, maybe even making reproduction carts... Just for fun, it's a fun little hobby and I love learning more about the chips, electronics, etc. nice to meet ya
