Howdy! I've been a lurker here for about a year now and decided to finally post. I grew up with with close family that worked in the gaming industry and have always had an interest in retro gaming. Over the last year I got really into the hardware itself, started a collection, bought a Sony PVM so I can get my RGB on, and got fanatical about doing mods and repairs. Came across ASSEMbler's YouTube channel and really felt on the same page with the "rare and obscure", preservation-oriented attitude he had with hardware, so I knew I just had to start digging through the forums. At present, I would like to learn more about the deeper tech side of hardware, dabble in some programming, and maybe someday contribute something back to the community that's already given me so much curiosity and enjoyment. I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone here!
