Well it's snowing on the South Coast this evening so what could be better than firing up the woodburner a four pack of Guinness and digging out my old Playstations to see if they are still fully functional and it is good news...!! So what next, a new adventure,,, A bit of chipping to be done. A quick Google search and I find that this be the place for such things, so here I am. Simple as that.

Thanks for he welcome deep3r. I am just reviving my PS1 and PS2 for the nostalgia and have a lot of games that I bought years ago in the USA that will not play on a unmodded Playstation. I need to fit a chip in the PS1 but for the PS2 there is software available so the question is to chip or not to chip the PS2. So I am really here to seek out the best solution. I have tried an Emulator for the PS1 but miss the feel of the Playstation and since a chip is so inexpensive I will fit one in the PS1. I am here to explore the options for the PS2 but that is not a topic for discussion in this part of the forum. I have found a UK member who sells various mods but cannot work out how to send a PM. Is it simply a case of starting a conversation with that member or am I missing something? ie I cannot send a PM before Ihave made X amount of posts....
