Greetings to all members in this forum. I am an old school retired computer repair Technician (forced retirement due to MS and Leukemia) I enjoy tinkering and repairing old junk that others are throwing away and donating it to good use so that less fortunate children and adults alike may get some enjoyment from it. I can not change the world but I can at least try to make a difference.
Welcome, you'll feel right at home cause there's a lot of old school techies hanging around here What a blow that must have been loosing your job and being diagnosed with leukemia. Can't imagine what that would be like, maybe to some extend with loosing your job as I lost mine twice during reorganizations. Life isn't fair at all.. but there's not a lot a human being can do about it other then keep fighting and try to enjoy those precious moments which you seem to do by making others happy which is the only way to enlightenment, imho.
