Thanks! That's some fast action there. I like the opening "brain-lightning" sequence. Never played the game though...
Over rated I think. I remember all the magazines creaming themselves over it. So I decided to buy it only to find it was like all Treasure games (apart from Guardian Heroes), over hyped. It's basically a 2D walk along beat'em up with path options. The main 2D character sprites can look quite ugly as well. This is what I though of it 10 years ago. Maybe now I'll have a different opinion. Yakumo
For a first gen game, compared to garbage like "reloaded" that was out at the time,it was a godsend. It looks like crap, but it's hard as hell if you set the difficulty. With some strategy, a team is what makes the game. You can make your stats to have high hp, or magic, etc. It's a very fun game that you have to be a fan of beat-em-ups to enjoy.
Were there any major differences between the JPN and US region versions? I used to have both, but I sold the Japanese version for a tidy sum to a happy buyer and I've always wondered if he knew something that I didn't.
Looks like I'll have to give this another try sometime. Sound like it may be worth trying again from ASSEMblers discription. Yakumo
