800 MS Points. I havent follow it closely so I just expected HD assets and online play, but was surprise to find a "Remix Mode" that actually changes the gameplay. The original mode is still there, but Remix Mode is the way to play. First, lets get this out of the way. They graphic filter thats been applied changes the look quite a bit. Characters have thick borders around them and have a pencil shaded look. I dont really mind it, but I can understand if people hate it. There is an option to turn on original graphics so you can enjoy GH in all its pixelated glory. Now the 'Remix Mode' was a nice surprise. Heres some of the changes: - Attacks now divided onto 3 buttons. Quick, Mid, and Heavy. Makes getting the right move easier. Heavy button also functions as the manual spell button. - There still a block button, but also a new backdash button. Backdash is partly invincible and goes through enemis. Good for getting out of tight spots. Cost MP. - 2 New mobility changes. You can now dash once and hold the direction to run, unlike the original where you had to constantly dash. Great change. You can also now airdash, Guilty Gear/blazblue style. - A new escape move. Pressing block + Y executes a move that knock away all enemies around you at the cost of some MP. - MP gained and regenerates faster. Overall, the changes and new controls take a while to get used to, but are great changes that breathe new life into the game for an old vet like myself. Tried the online. Out of about 4 online games I joined, only 1 was playable. The other 3 got constant stuttering and syncing problems. Hopefully this get worked out or patched, and not that the netcode isnt up to par. Overall a great buy IMO.
