Here's another politican jumping on the "blame videogames on everything" band-wagon. http://www.gamespot.com/news/6143114.html Don't worry though. I doubt he will get his way because he is a Texan politician, so 100% of what he says is complete bullshit. He is just proposing that to win re-election.
Damn, I thought it was a 50% tax increase. Still, I doubt it would happen. And if it did, I would stop going to a certain town in Texas to get Videogames. I live about on the border of 4 states. This would also be a strange issue in the town of Texarkana. Half is on Arkansas and half is on Texas. Guess where the business for violent games would head. Im not worried, anyway. If all politicians always got their way, rock, rap, and SEVERAl over things would be illegal.
I say FUCK THAT CRACKER! They didn't have videogamesback in the 60s (or 70s?) when that crazy guy went to the clock tower and started shooting everybody.
This is a joke, right? 100% tax? So a new copy of the latest GTA clone could cost you over $100? And who is it that determines how "violent" a game is? Not those ESRB clowns I hope. You guys ever read through the reviews they give of games? Absolutley rediculous.
I dont really care about the ESRB since apparantly I look old enough to buy whatever I want. ^_^ Any bad examples on hand of badly reviewed games? I know FFT was rated Teen just because Adramelk had a dirty mouth.
