Hi guys, I found this Rytlock Brimstone Guild Wars 2 Collectible statue that was released to the public a couple years ago. What I noticed with the one I found is that it is not painted. This must be a prototype/test figure before they painted it. The bottom has the logo/writing as the retail one does I believe. I cannot find anything online on this, that is why I would like to ask anyone here to verify what it is.
Needs a banana, how big is it? Sometimes in the doll/statue collector space they sell them like this on purpose, before paint. I even have 1/8 Muscle Machines like this, they're called "RAW". Maybe she called in sick that day, contact happyworker.com as they painted them. Since Guild Wars 2 pre-purchase was available yesterday, maybe some of you have already got either the Digital Edition, the Digital Deluxe Edition, or the limited Collector's Edition. Just a few hours ago, ArenaNet blog has been update with a post featuring the "biggest" part of the CE version (aside from the game itself, XD), that is the 10" Rytlock Brimstone figurine. Working from detailed reference art, the craftsman at Happy Worker created a true piece of art that captures the unfettered bad-assness of Rytlock. Through the months- long creative process, ArenaNet artists worked with Happy Worker on numerous iterations of the figurine until it was finally perfect and worthy of you, the player. In the end, we were very happy with the final, hand-painted statue, and we think you will, too!
