Gunblade NY Repair (I'm assuming more the RPTV than anything else)

So last night me and a buddy picked up this full sized Gunblade NY which has a 50" RPTV. We were taking a gamble on it ($100, but figure worst case we can make our money back and then some) because the lady (not going to lie, was a bit of a redneck) said the power supply was dead in it. Turns out they must not have known there was a power switch on the power supply besides the switch in the back of the cabinet.

Well the cabinet does power on, I see 2 green lights on and a red power light on the game board so I'm guessing that is possibly okay. The issue is nothing comes on the TV. The fans turn on connected to it, and there is a green light on the control panel, but other than that nothing. On the 3 necks like you see on a traditional CRT there is no glow. Personally I've never owned let alone messed with a RPTV like this before. I can seem to find a service manual for it either so I'm really not quite sure where to start as far as troubleshooting and hopefully repair on this big guy. The model on the TV is a Mitsubishi vs-50se1.

The same buddy I went down to get this with says his mom has a 50" RPTV in their basement. If it seems that this thing is shot would it realistically be possible to possibly rig up the other TV so long as it has the proper video connections (or I adapt them)?

Gunblade runs on the Model 2B CRX hardware, which as far as I'm aware outputs a 24Khz RGB signal. No retail TV ever supported that frequency (as far as I know). If you're lucky the telly in the basement might have a 15Khz RGB input of some description, but that's unlikely as you're in the US.

So yeah, you're going to need something to convert 24Khz RGB to something that plays nice with the available inputs on your telly.

You might be able to get more technical advice over at ArcadeOtaku?

The GBS-82XX scalers will apparently accept a 24Khz signal, but they only output VGA. You'd then need to convert the VGA signal to something the TV will accept. If the TV does have some form of RGB input then you might be ok.

A GBS scaler plus a VGA to RGB converter will probably be the cheapest option anyway.

All the large TV's I have had in the last 8 years or so all have VGA input.
