I'm worried about the 2D stuff. I've got Phantasy Star Generation II, but enver played the "original" on it. Not sure if they're scaling the graphics or not.
MY GOD I WILL BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY OWN A LEGIT COPY OF ALIEN SOLDER AND NOT PAY OVER $200 FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's just hope they don't fuck it up like most of the previous Ages releases. And don't even mention the US release of "Sega Classics Collection." Talk about a piece of utter shite. -hl718
You can get a perfect arcade port of Galaxy Force II on the saturn as part of the Sega Ages collection Yakumo
My thoughts exactly! This great news! I've been waiting forever for an arcade perfect port of Galaxy Force II. The Saturn version is NOT arcade perfect. It's pretty good, leagues better than the Mega Drive version of course, but it's not arcade perfect. Check it out in an emulator, the arcade version had probably twice the amount of sprites. Plus the load times in the saturn one get annoying. Besides, being one of my favorite games of all time, I'll buy any version they release.
is the sega ages collection in america that bad? i really wanted to take it. hope they'll release other sega ages here though.
I'd definitely buy this if it ever gets a PAL or US release And for those being put off by hl718's comment on the previous US AGES release, we had the same discussion on shmups.com and opinion varied greatly. Of course, the people at shmups.com were excited most with a potential re-release of Radiant Silvergun
Well they put Panzer Dragoon in Panzer Dragoon Orta's Pandora's Box, so I have faith in Sega putting the two titles into either a nice retro package, or as a bonus in a future Panzer game.
