Assuming they are legit, $2400 is far too high, that's almost $45 per game. No one will buy those without the intention of reselling and you'll never make a return on that.
I doubt they are repros. He probably just collected them over time. The game isn't worth that much really. So having a ton of copies of it isn't insane. Infact if he bought them at the right time they may have been just about dirt cheap. Still kind of funny that he managed to end up with other 50 copies of the game. Better than 50 copies of Shaq Fu.
