There's one in my local CEX window marked up at £145 (just shy of $180). Their site says they buy or part exchange for £80 (just under $100)... £70 if unboxed, which would go out for £120.
Isn't this something there will be more of? I don't get why anyone would pay more than the retail price.. Some people lack a discipline!
Because little Billy or little Sally needs to have it for Christmas or else they might get pouty and we can't let them get pouty because that means the parents might have to explain to them that they can't just have everything that they want when ever they want it and if they do that, then little Billy or little Sally is going to think that mommy and daddy don't love them because they have never, ever had to wait to get something that they want, even though they will only play it for 15 minutes and get bored with it and really only wanted it because they knew mommy and daddy would buy it for them to make sure that they could feel better than all those poor kids whose mommies and daddies obviously don't love them because they disappointed them by being poor and Billy and Sally have to be shielded from reality and can never experience "disappointment" like those poor children.
Yes. People are just stupid. It's around $100+ in Australia, which you might as well buy a real NES for that money.
I doubt kids are even aware of this device. Is marketing big in USA for this? I mean, I've seen it in eBay main games page and that's all.
And Zelda goes for how much on the NES? Not to mention the other 29 games. Don't get me wrong - I think getting a NES is the better option, but it's cute, a space saver and you get games that (on the original system, yeah there's Virtual Console) would cost loads.
conisdering the mini doesn't have physical games. Everdrive would be able to have more than 30 games on it.
I made a nes mini/snes/n64/bunch_of_sega_systems. end line, used an arm device and installed a bunch of emu on it with games.... for less than $50.
