    Hi,
i set up my Asus P2B with the H2500 Devkit from HI_Ricky :). Unlikely i have an Hardware IRQ Conflict with the Board. And i dont can fix it with Mainboard Bios Settings! I try to switch many IRQ Settings, but i never have an solution found.
I use Win98. The other boards installed are an DTH-H201A(ISA), Adaptec SCSI Controller(ISA), Adaptec SCSI Raid Controller(PCI), AGP GF2.
    Here an screen from Win98:

The main question now, someone have the H2500 using windows without conflicts?
    Thanks!

Are all those other boards necessary. If not, remove some or remove stuff like extra/unneeded cd-rom players to free up IRQ's

Yes i need all the other boards. What i also try is to switch the H2500 PCI slot.
I check all my IRQs, IRQ11 is free but its not an solution. I can choose every IRQ, same Problem.
You can see on the picture the conflict is only for the H2500. No other irq have problems. When i switch the IRQ to one are still in use i have two conflicts. So i dont think that its only an slot-to-slot conflict.
Silverbull tell me he has the same Problem with the P4B.
    Maybe an ASUS Problem?
    Thanks

Can you take a picture of the H2500 Resources tab?
And run msinfo32, look under the conflict/shares and irq section and take another screenshot please.

Have you an solution how i can manage the IRQs correct?
Thanks unclejun, this helps me to understand.
The ACPI IRQ holder sucks many conflicts i think? What is this ? On ressource screen stand it too by the H2500. I set the H2500 to IRQ11 for the moment.
I dont know why the board make such conflicts.

Look at the H2500 properties, the irq is not the problem, it's the memory range...
In msinfo32, look at the memory section for a free memory range and see if you can use those values in the H2500 properties "change setting" window.

    I need another help please.
I use the SN Software from the DTL-S2800 Runtime 4.4 for WIN. I set up the Software side. I need this because when i try to install an older software he cant update the regestry again. And the pci driver for the H2500 is from 4.4 too.
I follow exactly the documentation, but the doc i have is only for the DOS side...
When i start the SN SysCheck app from win i have no connection to the target device. Other test are fine.
I can compile because it hangs on Software lib. Also i can run games from the CD-Rom too. But when i try to "run" an .cpe file same error pops up, no target device.
Ok, i know that the sn software need an another sn.bin (on installation he say 702A.bin). So i rename the file to sn.bin and push it into the path where "pflash" is located. I can´t flash it because no target device!??? This is so creazy . You install an Software and he tells, you have to update it, but same time the file you have to update is include in the Software :banghead:. I try it in dos and win, same shit.
I check my Hardware angain, set the H2500 to IRQ11 and the memory I/O like doc tells me.
I checked all my startup path links too... I find no solution.
What the hell goes on here?
    Still an hardware conflict?
When i disconnect my CDW-900E from the SCSI controller, the screen flares heavy :eek:h:. Maybe i need terminators and thats the reason why i cant flash

    edit:
I chance the I/O memory and now i can use pflash...
But only when i use the default address. When i choose 000C8000 - XXX pflash wont work any more.
