Haha, that segment is so flawless.

 

Yeah I really was looking forward to the finished product being inside an original case, not some lame wood box that should be on Grandma's wall holding cinnamon and pepper seeds.

 

He irritates the hell out of me but I watched it to completion as I thought it was a cool idea.

The mechanism is cool but yeah he started off in part one talking about how he was going to fit it all in the original case and then just failed to mention that in the end and built a custom one.

I just wish he got straight into the tech/building stuff and ditch all the shitty jokes aimed at 13 year old WOW players who are just getting into the retro "scene". It's just embarrassing.

Also his viewer questions are dire. My reply to all of them so far would have been "google it".

 

It looks good (personally i couldn't be stuffed) but isn' t the problem with the 72 pin connector partly due to the long pins? So making longer pins (with no support medium) is the solution?

 

The case is a bit bulky and doesn't have the NES color scheme but I love how it turned out.


And personally, I don't get the hate on his humor. It's always been that way. And is one of the things that makes it more entertaining to me at least.
