To me at the time of it's release it seemed like an overpriced method to rake in some extra cash, now I wish I had bought it because im a whore for such cool things. Sigh, I also let MGS3:S get away and now its worth about $40 more than retail.

I believe $70 plus shipping was how much I paid for it. I don't remember exactly, but it couldn't have been more than that. The T shirt is too small, and I wouldn't wear it anyways. If I would to take it out of the box, there would be too much empty space left. ;)

I got the us one that just come in a big black box thats about an inch or so on the sides. Got it at gamestop of all places for $50 US new when they were

trying to get get rid of them at a time when the regular was still going for $60. It is a more convienent version to have when you dont want to bother

downloading is from steam or having to install it on multiple discs.

Weird thing about this one is that the stuff inside doesn't take up too much space. You could easily fit another 10 or more DVD cases [slims] and about three more T shirts. I have to say they kind of half assed this one. The box is great, but the game guide is just a pocket formatted "demo" unlike the full version, which is A4 in size, and covers the whole game plus secrets, not only the 1st chapter.

A soundtrack would be nice, too. There was a soundtrack included with soe pre-orders I think. You can't buy the thing any other way. It was some fancy shmancy special edition, pre order thing. But that would be a nice addition to the box, since it's so damn big and there's hardly anything in it.

Another bad thing is the T shirt size, which you simply cannot choose. The box is shringwrapped, so you can't just open it and check out whether the T shirt is L, XL or whatever. Unless there's only one size for everybody.

Come on Valve! This is not Star Trek where everyone has the same size suit and looks like a damn clone.
