Circuit city has a sale in their flyer, Episode 1 is only $7.99 !

I'm going to pick one up as this destroys the $19.99 price every one else has.

Wow, that's a great price for a great game. As a matter of fact, I've been reinstalling it from Steam for the past 15 minutes now...getting all my games back.

Not really. The places we go to usually don't have one anyway.

LOL. I can shove that to the people who claim the $20 was worth for those 5 hours of gameplay into their faces..

Hmm, but then what's the profit margin on this thing if they can feasibly do that?

What about the people who go there just to buy 5 or 6 copies, then sell them on ebay/amazon for profit?

You would be surprised. I mean, there are people on Ebay who sell common coupons for several cents. Another example was this one guy I work with who bought 6 copies of Dragon Quest VIII for $9 back during the sale, and sold them on ebay when the price rose back up.

I paid £20 for my copy at my local games store, at first after running through the game in what felt like 45 minutes I was kinda pissed off but then I replayed it with the commentry nodes on and listened to the developers and noticed how different from hl2 it actually was and I kinda felt it was worth my money. It even made me replay HL2 again and look forward to episode 2. Like 99% of the internet population I thought that episodic content was truely dumb and just a way to syphon cash from my ever-shrinking wallet. But I have to say... I'm a complete convert.
