Well half life 2 is now offically avaliable here in the U.S but im guessing by the time your read this it will be avaliable in europe as well, even though i dont have the money atm to get it, im pleased to know its finally released, and im sure as hell getting this when the dough comes in. Anyone elses thoughts on the game finally being relaeased?
Kill me. Seriously. I preordered it over STEAM....and this time last week my University blocked STEAM over the firewall. I have a Gold Package pre-ordered and cant play it at all >_< And whats worse? The in-store CD version needs STEAM verification too. So effectivly? NO HALF-LIFE2 for me unless I make a 3 hour trek home with my computer tommorow. Well, I better go get some train tickets..... P.S. I fscking HATE VALVe and Dundee University ¬_¬
What gets me is that I recently bought some stuff at Creative's stock clearance, partially with HL2 in mind: a Radeon 9600 256, Audigy LS and a 5.1 set... but the Radeon turned out to be broken, and now I'm back to my GF4MX... no HL2 for me :smt022
HL2 leak worked on a GF2 32mb.....and on my old GF4MMx400....so you can run it It just looks like ass.

I'm pLaying HL2 right now. I got it for free via the ATI/Valve deal. It preloaded and it finished unlocking. Kick ass game. Playing it with a Radeon 9600 Pro btw. Will post pics ASAP.
Got my HL2 working in the end thanks to a kickass guy at a local PC store Its fscking fantastic. I loves it. Playing it on my Radeon 9800pro 256mb :smt023 *sighs* I've missed Gordon Freeman and his crowbar!
Hope to have the DVD by friday, since i won't go to EGS :smt022 :smt022 Anyway, My PC will run it on low quality anyway (AMD 2800+, 1gig Ram, Geforce3 Ti200 64mb).
Do you think the Collector's Edition will be sold out? It's $80 here in the states by the way. I want it so badly...argh...damn. You still play as Gordon Freeman, hes meaning hes missed playing the game and baisicly is happy that 2 has come out, just explaining in case you didnt fully understand.

Okay, so I just finished the game :smt043 Its really good, I couldn't stop playing at all.....infact, I should probao to the bathroom :smt043 Seriously, its absolutley fantastic And for all you people moaning Doom 3 looks better....I disagree ^_^ Half-life 2 not only looks better but is also fun :smt023 And isn't repetitive at all Just wait until you start fighting the Striders. I couldn't help but hum the main War of teh Worlds theme ("Eve of the War" for you fussy people ). Okay, so now I just gotta wait for Half-life 3 :smt042

Went to a friends house to film something for class and he was playing it for a bit, i must say it looks damn good in person, i love the ability to throw stuff.
I was throwing broken glass and luggage at the guards. I got 3 of them to come at me in the beginning. Just threw a piece of luggage at two then quickly threw a bottle at another. I blacked out.
