they should add textures on the hand to make it look older... well, maybe it's a prequel too.... Almost, but its too pixelised! :-D
Huh guys, that's actually a real picture taken by a brazilian guy and posted on a brazilian games forum. That yellow car in the back is a brazilian cab.
I honestly can't wait for the next one... I had to take off on break before I could finish HL2 (am currently at the tail end of "Follow Freeman!" but already I want to see a new one. Hopefully Valve doesn't run into the same problems on the next installment... :smt009
sometimes, I come out of the house and look at a beautiful sunrise or sunset - the cars, the people, the city in motion, and I wonder... Can I get that in 1024x768 and not lose framerate? then again, sometimes I don't come out of the house at all.
:smt043 :smt043 c'mon, the sunshine is so beautiful...nerd! :smt043 i quicly saw some images of it in a magazine shop, looked good, but the light where no as pushed has doom 3. the game is based on doom 3 engine, and id said that if doom 3 was horror oriented, quake 4 would be action oriented. it won't be like quake 3, there will be a ''story'' and levels, but id said they where going to make the online part has good and develloped has quake 3, wich is a great thing! :smt045 . from what i saw, you have mates in the ''story'' mode too, but i can't confirm. i can't wait for more informations! -------------------------------------Edit:-------------------------------------------- you want screenshots of quake 4? here we go: http://www.nofrag.com/screenshots/actualite/2004-09-14_Quake4preview3.jpg http://www.nofrag.com/screenshots/actualite/2004-09-14_Quake4preview4.jpg http://www.nofrag.com/screenshots/actualite/2004-09-14_Quake4preview5.jpg http://www.nofrag.com/screenshots/actualite/2004-09-14_Quake4preview6.jpg http://www.nofrag.com/screenshots/actualite/2004-09-14_Quake4preview7.jpg http://www.nofrag.com/screenshots/actualite/2004-09-14_Quake4preview8.jpg not that the release of this game is sheduled for 2006, textures and general graphics will have the time to be refined. ;-) ... but it's still not as good has half-life 3 . :-D
:smt043 :smt043 Brilliant!! A similar thought struck me the other day, in a long car ride to the airport for vacation - what resolution does the real world work in? I then proceeded to stare intently out the window looking for bugs in the rendering engine. :smt043 :smt043 Sad, no?
