I got a HALO 2 for PC image yesterday, and thought to get a look at it tonight. Surprisingly, there was no game nor installation it, just plain "data". Especially a file, located in a Root\media folder called "Command line.txt" shed some light on the situation : Code: d C:\Program Files\Microsoft Xbox SDK\xbox\bin bundler C:\halo2\bin\Downloader\media\dlcustom.rdf -o C:\halo2\bin\Downloader\media\dlcustom.xpr bundler C:\halo2\bin\Downloader\media\dlres.rdf -o C:\halo2\bin\Downloader\media\dlres.xpr Dlcustom holds the resources for the custom backgrounds. Dlres is the resources for all the buttons and controls. If dlres.xpr is absent then downloader will simply reference the default resources embedded in the .xbe. You must have the sdk installed in the default location for the command lines to work. Any clues? PS for the mods : feel free to lock or remove this thread if you find it unappropriate!
The "command line.txt" file appears on every Xbox Halo 2 DVD. Not sure what you have downloaded or from where you got it, but (a) it's nothing special and (b) it's got SFA to do with Halo 2 for PC.
