Has anyone seen the video of this thing? (I don't have a link to it, but I have the video) I've looked through a bit of the level data, but all I can find are directories. There aren't any files (model, textures, anything) that I can see inside the directory. There's also a folder titled "lordhood". Does anyone have any information on this? I'd like to poke around a bit more...
I'll look for it. It's getting to be a bit difficult to find. Eh. Proved myself wrong. Here it is: http://useruploads.mythica.org/uploads/FloodJuggernaut.wmv

It was a creature that was cut from the game (someone apparently found it floating around in one of the level's data). There's also no mention of it anywhere on the "Special Edition" DVD.
i dont know if its been discussed here, but a lot of content was cut from halo 2. someone told me that they did a hatchet job on the game to make way for a timely release of halo 3. i dont know to what degree that is true. it would be interesting to see how much of the missing content is still located on the disk.
arent they planing to release a halo 2.5 for the xbox 2 with better gfx and little more content thougt i read that somewhere
Interesting...The enemy looks like it either had it's A.I. turned off or was cut fairly early in cretaing the enemies A.I. to get the game out. Not only can you walk through it, the only thing it does is it's waiting stance and slightly move back when a grenade is thrown on it (and doesn't move when the sword hits). Chances are, it was a enemy that was planned and had a model and waiting stance created for it, but was dropped when they were developing the A.I. (or had it turned off...)
I would like it if Bungie kept making expansions for Halo 2, and since this is a microsoft gaming device, you might see a trillion of them, sooner or later. It would kick ass if they made a multiplayer-only expansion, with lots of new maps and stuff. IF they're smart, they will.
if they smell the odor of cash, they will. And trust me, microsoft have a very developed nose, so they will certainly force bungie to make downloadable add-ons.
I found a site that lets you play Halo 2 online for free with their accounts. Anyone Interested? They also fixed it to play Halo 1 online, I think, too.
That would be the software that tricks your Xbox into thinking it's in a system link setup (which, technically, I guess it is). My brother and I did that a few years ago with Halo. It's pretty fun, but no replacement for live.
Is there any word on how you can find the Creatures? what lvl which platform? and the fuck to get to them
