I think someone either got their hopes to high or is being an elitist asshole. Its a good game, but got a little too much hype for its own good.
I still love halo 1 (but not the multiplayer). I really hope Halo 3 will be as good as 2 was suppose to be. I liked 2 I guess....but it was dissapointing. Multiplayer was fun for a bit though.
The reason the legendary is pricey is simply because of that Helmet. You can't make that crap for free. Depending on the quality atleast. Even a shitty helmet would cost you a fair amount to make. I'm not preording Halo 3. I won't buy Halo 3 either for more than 50$. I was not impressed much by Halo or Halo 2. They were both decent games, but I'm not a fan.
Actually, I'd like to have that helmet. Waste of money, sure, but it'll look cool in my room. I might even wear it a little, too!
They said the helmet was the size of a cats head, so good luck trying to wear it I think bungie was a little too preoccupied with multiplayer and didn't focus enough on creating a fullfilling single player experience
Personally, I thought the single-player modes of both Halo and Halo 2 were really average. Not horrible, there just wasn't anything that interesting or original to me. All I ever play is multiplayer.
