Halo betas/demos (E3?)

Could anyone link me to any Halo betas/demos/promos etc. that exist?

I can just never seem to find any downloads on my own.

 

Do you mean the game files itself or documentation of the files? I know there is lots of Halo talk at betaarchive.

 

Actual files.

Particularly, (though I doubt they exist) any E3 builds, such as the 2000 E3 Halo: CE build, the Halo CE 1999 beta build or the Halo 3: Epsilon build.

God, I would kill for a copy of Epsilon.

 

Epsilon build is lying through the internet somewhere i have a copy on my RGH

 

Everyone has epsilon however I do believe its server locked. But of course their are ways around it

Could you actually play the maps with the Windows application that's supposed to force them to load? with a console running a dev kernel and SDK installed it just errors for me. I forget exactly what the error was now ill have to find it out again and try.

 

yea i can i have the hacked xex that allows u to use menu to launch maps

Would love to see some of these as well; I have the Halo 2 Beta (Everyone has it by now) and a Debug version of Halo CE for Xbox.

I've heard there was a supposed patch to halo 2 beta ( iirc something along the lines of beta3 ).... has anyone else heard this or know anything about it?

 

There is a hacked .XBE to get around the Xbox Live requirement and Gamertag and what not. The patch also includes the flamethrower (broken) and the Mongoose ATV. Not hard to find at all in fact it's pretty much all over the net just need to know where to look.

 

I already have the Halo 2 beta as well as the Halo 1 debug ( and have thoroughly dug through the H2 beta more than I'd like to admit ).... I'm more or less refering to the "beta3" patch ( or whatever it's called ) that was pushed out over live apparently.

 

Oh gotcha, whats the deal with this "beta3" ?

 

It's more like "update 3" but basically has things like headhunter actually working ( supposedly anyway )

You should be able to get headhunter to show up on regular beta without patch but it wont work ( either that or I'm missing something I should be pointing to... any info or advice would be nice. )

Surely theres an xbox *somewhere* out there with this patch.

Theres other gamemodes in the beta if you start digging... some of the resources being there some...not so much...



Some I ripped out a long while back when I first started digging through the beta...

Sadly lost most of my work files so I can only go to my old photobucket to pull these images lol...

Indeed....which is why I went from single drives without backups per say to raid + non-raid setups.

I sure did learn my lesson....and quite the hard way =_=

edit: Quick look through the Halo 2 beta files and noticed that invasion was listed.. hmm
