I would love a dev 360 but I just wouldn't have time to use it properly, so I just collect special editions....plus spending hours on team deathmatch with my 4 kids is a much more enjoyable use of my time that writing code that some leech will bitch about IMO.....been there flamed that xD.
Don't worry me, my brothers, my wife and my kids will make good use of it.... two problems remain though 1)how to transfer all my saves efficiantly? 2)should I pack up my mw2 edition 360 or put it in my bedroom? Oh the agony of decision making
just decided that im gonna stick with my mw2 console in the living room cos everything else is black.....ive just aquired a silver plasma of my great uncle so looks like ive got a bedroom rig lol.
I dunno, as much as I'd like to do the whole worshipping video games thing again I don't think I could justify throwing down extra cash on what amounts to a different casing. Then again, at the prices I'm seeing for all of that individually you're looking at $419.97 USD pre-tax. Order from Amazon and I'd get no tax. Then again a 250gb 360 with Reach and a spare controller is $397.03. Just no graphics on the controller or console.
Just picked it up, I have a few minor problems with the pack as a whole though because on the pre-order form it said I would get the transfer cable and a wireless halo branded headset...and when I got the box it clearly shows that it has no transfer cable and just has the plain black Wired headset! So I complained to the manager showed them the form and got £20 knocked off the price...nice ;-) One nice touch with the console is the touch sensitive power/eject buttons have halo themed sounds play when you press them, the eject button does the shield recharge noise for instance. Anyway here's some pics sorry about the orientation of the first two pics but my iPhone is refusing to rotate them and my pc is in pieces at the moment
I m getting a slim soon but I still asked for the shiny new black model, despite this being "rarer". Will I regret it? Maybe, but I like the stock color better.
If I'm honest I like the matt black 4gig slim better than all other models but I'm a collector so I bought this instead, would have prefered a metallic deep blue with matt-black trim and decals for a halo edition box but meh.
Yeah lol.... The eject button does the shield recharge noise but I'm not sure what the power button noise is... Maybe a spartan suit powering on?....whatever it is, it's a nice touch.
A little bit disappointed with the bland-looking Halo: Reach disc, but I'm sure they'll be a collector's item someday.
