Halo Wars Alpha

This is a private Alpha test that ran on Xbox Live for a short period of time. Originally it was locked to online only but I was able to unlock it a few years ago with some help. Recently it was stolen and is now being used to make money. Not gonna mention any names but you know who you are, kiddo. So since its in the hands of thieves I figured now is a good time to make it public for everyone to archive and play. Its unlocked and ready to go. Enjoy.

I still have no idea how someone convinced Microsoft to make a halo game that wasn't an fps.
I still have no idea how they did it a second time.

But lets hope things change for the better

I think originally Halo started out as top-down game and then turned into a FPS game.

 

Third person, not top-down unless we're going older than 3D Halo

 

It was an RTS then a 3rd person shooter followed by an FPS after MS got hold of Bungie.

 

am i doing something wrong? when i try loading a skirmish match on my jtag it goes to a black screen after the loading screen and i have to reboot my xbox. is there no covenant? unsc loads up just fine
