I m back, and I m a holder of a brand new Premium 360, for the price of a core, which was paid out of b-day gathered money. Good deal over all, and thanks to some super-glue,the Core pricetag stuck nicely to the premium package :D

I am impressed by the fact that there's 4 videos of bullshit in the hard-drive and no playable demos besides the Live Arcade tite Hexic. Nice way to promote your console Microsoft:p

With that in mind, I m flying on Thursday back home to the UK. Do you think I would get any trouble for carrying a 360 in my hands? (the adaptor fits the "bomb" description accurately:p )

Also, I am considering on buying a used game off ebay when i get back, namely Kameo. Bombard me with your suggestions, but keep in mind that I m not a big FPS fan.

PS: it is all down hill now I guess , but everyone goes through it sooner or later, no one got away from getting older

    Shady news folks.

My parents fell in love with the 360 (not for the games, but for the fact that it plays DVDs , you can watch your pictures off any USB device or CD etc), and they re trying to persuade me to not take it with me to the UK, but rather leave it with them. I never thought i d fight over a console with my..parents.

Still, the issue remains, could I get away with transporting the beast back home? or would airport security make me do nasty things?

Anyone has any hands-on experience with transporting an XBOX from one place to another with airplane?

Doubt you will get away with it in hand luggage. So your gonna have to take it boxed and that might be an issue when IF you hit customs at heathrow. Heathrow never ever have customs officers around but after this shit with the plane bombs i dont know how hard they are hitting these days.

I wouldn't worry about taking it on-board, I ve got away with much worse. for free;) It's security that scares the crap out of me. They re very very annoying when they start making stupid questions and/or try to guess if something's dangerous (eg: you might drop the AC adaptor on the pilots head)

Whats what i mean. I very much doubt security will let you get on in with hand luggage for the reason that they dont know what you have done with the insides and there are things that potentially could use as a weapon.

    Happy birthday Barc0de!
considering that you seem to be going to the uk I guess it could be a problem with taking the 360 in the hand luggage ;)
