Wow how time does fly... I had a yellow one of these which came out after the grey one with TETRIS. I can remember how happy I was when I got it lol. Happy birthday GameBoy!

I remember getting a first run GB back in 89. The Black box with the wire frame hands on it, and Tetris and Super Mario Land to boot. That was the start of a long friendship, used batteries, and strained eyes. Good times.
I got mine sometime around 91. At the end of it, I had a huge carry case that looked like a giant gameboy. Had all my games, and super gameboy, don't know what ever happened to it. Parents probably threw it all away. Great times on that system. I remember back in 6th grade, me and my buddy were in science class, and my gb died, then his... So I started poking around in cupboards, found a box of 50 or 100 energizers. That made it so we never ran out of juice the rest of the year
