Wow, i completely forgot that the US dreamcast launched on 9-9-99. What an amazing system it was, sputtered out way before its time.

I don't celebrate the US or PAL DC release since it's not really the true age of the system. The DC will be 10 years old this coming November. THat's the date to celebrate. Well hope We'll get a nice 10th aniversary bonus but I doubt it.

I kept telling everyone at work I had to go to Software Etc. and pick up a Dreamcast and Sonic Adventure and they looked at me like I was crazy.

Is that KOF running in widescreen??? Or Stretched?

KoF doesn't have Ryu. That's probably Capcom Vs SNK.

Don't have any American games. Only Japanese and PAL.

I just looked at the date and noticed what it was and why it looked familiar. Yakumo's right though, this beast is a decade old really. Almost makes me cry.

And that is Capcom VS. SNK 2000.

Does anyone else find that when you have lots of games, keeping track of what is on which VMU is a nightmare. I have all 8 plugged in right now and it's a right pain to remember for some games.

I just have one main memory card and 4 back ups. I just transfer saves to the main VMU as needed

How many games? I have one VMU for a Chao (SA2) and a fighting VMU for the arcade stick, another shooting VMU and then a random one. I do have about 150 games maybe... need to count. Should post my collection actually.

Used to be around 40 but it's shrinking as I get rid of games I no longer want/need/play

Happy 9th B-day from me too!

(altho' like Yakumo, I'd go with November - I first played on a dc round a mates house who had a Jap imported machine from release. He was playing Shenmue (still remember it vividly) and it blew me away... Quite a revelation to me back then, to say the least)

    Great machine, nuff said.
