    Best day ever. I bought a Dreamcast on release day right after a business meeting with some Apple folks. Walked right into a Gamestop and picked one up. I think that was the last console release where you could do that.

    I only bought one game Soul Calibur and was blown away. Shortly after that I started trying to reverse engineer the hardware and had lots of fun with that. Built a programming cable wrote some code. From that point on I was hooked on consoles and hacking around with their hardware.

    My one unrealized dream was to get a katana dev kit. I haven't given up hope yet!

    Happy Birthday DC.

    Still remember the first time I laid eyes on Shenmue. Couldnt beleive the amount of detail in the environments.

    But my jaw literally dropped when playing Rez for the first time. Still visually impressive to this day.

    I honored both the dreamcast and the nfl by playing nfl 2k2 on my kiosk right before the game. Man...I remember when I didn't think graphics would get much better than that!

    This is particularly depressing because the DC was launched within a few days of my starting college. I haven't been a freshman in 11 years, lol.


    I'm going to play some Project Justice and feel old.
