I tend to have better odd years than even years so I'm looking forwards to 2011 and what it mayh bring. Note - it is not part of some weird belief structure but an observation of the past. Happy New Year. I'm even happier now Borderlands and Transformers War for Cybertron arrived today
Happy New Year guys! 2010 has not been such a good year for me, except for the time I spent with my gf. I am looking forward to 2011, as it will be a year of changes for me, starting by switching to another university to resume my computer engineering studies. I've had a rough year too, but there are some highlights - As Tchoin said, the time I spent with my boyfriend was awesome and it totally made my year worth while - I finally got the chance to get a nose job, which I've wanted for 10 years more or less The down part is the whole unemployment issue, which is starting to really bore me and bring me down. All in all I spent 9 of the 12 months of the year unemployed. I hope the next year brings me a good job and more time to cherish with the people I love (my family has been a bit hectic and troublesome). Having a Lo-Tech new year. All Jan im going back to only using a 2g phone. Internet will only be used via a computer with no wifi. No twitter No Facebook NO Iphone Only 16 bit consoles. No Next Gen. Just doing it for a giggle to see how long it takes for me to crack.
In my case 2010 wasn't a good year for me until around June-July when I had enough of it and started doing something about all the things that weren't working for me. It was a great choice, I ended this year way better than how I started it. I could solve most of the job-related issues and I have some interesting projects for next year (including starting college again in another university). I really hope 2011 to be a good year Happy new year!
I imagine that to be like the Seinfeld episode "The Contest". Do it with friends to see who looses first. I'd also add a no masturbation or internet porn clause to the whole deal, just to make it extra painful
I've had a good year, good things happened, some bad things happened too. But overall, it was pretty good. I'm expecting huge changes in 2011, I've finished School and I'm starting College, that will bring many changes. Sorry to go Off-Topic, but K-Panggg, How do you look now? Maybe I've spent too much time on certain parts of the internet, but what the heck is a nose job? That's an expression I've never heard and what I imagine it to be seems a little... inappropriate :redface: Anyway, happy new year everybody.
Hmm, I think I look way better than I did before. The outcome of the surgery is really natural and if people doesn't know they really cannot guess it just by looking at me. The horrible hook nose is gone!! Yay! You could ask the wonderful Tchoin and see what he thinks, but of course his answer will be biased. Judge for yourself
LOL, oh man, I should get used to google things before asking something silly. :gravedigging: @K-Pangg Plastic surgery really can be a relief if you do it for yourself. Most things people find highly annoying aren't even noticed by others though. Actually it never occured to me that you had a "hook nose".
Yeah, it was something I really wanted to do. My nose bothered me more than anyone else, so i decided to get rid of it. As simple as that. It wasn't due to pressure from society or anything like that, it was something I didn't like and was lucky enough to have it fixed. If I had a weaker personality I would probably go for breast implants, but that would make society happier and put me in severe risks I am not willing to take just to be prettier... In any case, enough offtopicness. HAVE A GREAT NEW YEARRRRRR!!!!
Hehe, don't worry about that . I still remeber when I didn't know how to use the Patch command under MSys before compiling, so I went to a programming forum and asked for some advice, some users there started making fun of me. In the end, nobody answered my questions, but I solved my problem after some Googling, I felt great afterwards because I could overcome that simple problem myself without their help :thumbsup:.
