    Happy New year!

It's a pleasure to say that the people of Asia were right, seven and a half hour into the new year, here now folks, I can indeed confirm that it seems to be a good one! [IMG]

And I took your wise lesson of "drinking too much just gets old at my age"! You charlatan ;-)

Anyhow, a belated happy new years!

    HAPPY 4th OF JULY!

errr, what month is it again?

    /takes some more Asprin

  17. There's also the danger of being TOO boring on New Year's Eve, tho: watching Zoolander with a pair of friends and issuing a halfhearted 10-second countdown.

Not that I'm complaining, though. Sometimes, you get to the point where one New Year's as good as another.

That aside, Happy (late) New Year's to everyone here, hope you had a safe celebration, and may this year be better than the last for all of you!

Does me watching Aishiteru ze Baby hammered while the Mrs watches the countdown on Animal Crossing sober count as boring?

I was in a shitty mood anyway Anti, which is why I was drinking, nothing to do with new years eve.

Ah, right. Sorry to hear that :-(

And GSL: methought Zoolander was quite fun, I'd definitely recommend it for one of those typical "get some friends together for an evening of mindless entertainment" times.

Me, I went with a few friends to a bar (owned by one of said friends' father), only to find out that the local proletariat had taken refuge there, and I spent the rest of the evening singing along with corny dutch songs (stuff like Andre Hazes for those in the know) with them and drinking... 'twas fun.

  20. Well, to be honest, my girlfriend and I finished the movie and then both set our clocks back on our DS' for Animal Crossing: Wild World to watch the countdown there as well. Not boring in the least to us, but I suppose it could be depending on one's definition of a good way to ring in the new year!
