Well, you might be too late for Black Friday. There were already a dozen or so people camped out at Best Buy around 6pm today. I don't have a clue what they are camping for unless they think that a new shipment of PS3's have come in. Nobody besides me hates Thanksgiving? It's just another arbitrary "family" holiday that causes everything to be closed for no reason. Even most of the Chinese restaurants here, which used to be the only place that you could count on to be open, were closed. OH:
Doesn't this holiday have a rather dark origin? I've always heard the stories of Squanto and the first Thanksgiving with the Native Americans and Pilgrims, but I also hear that story was so exxagerated and skewed over the years that no one knows the true story. Much like the Pocahontas story, but that was mostly Disney's fault.
