Harrier 2001 (N64)

I've read an article about Harrier 2001 in a German N64 magazine years ago. I'm a Pilotwings fan and I was really interested in this game. Unfortunately I never heared anymore about Harrier 2001:-(

Why was it cancelled?

Game developed by Paradigm Entertainment for Video System USA

I wrote in October 2006, to a member of the development team. He replied:

unfortunately this game never came out. was 98 percent
completed when dispute btwn publisher and developer put it in a legal
black hole. there was a playable version, but by contract, publisher
retained ownership (Video System, Japan). I believe the company is no
longer in existence.

Does a prototype exist? The game looks so promising. I really would like to play it sometimes

 

That does look good ! I once heard that there is / was a Video System office in the UK that maybe worth trying to get in contact with however the person who told me is well known for talking out of his arse, so take it as you will.

It really is a shame that the game was canned. Looks pretty good for a N64 title.
