Is anyone in Australia going to use this new online service (based in Ireland I beleive)? http://www.harveynormandirectimport.com I for one wont as Play Asia seem to offer better service and quality I had a look and some games are actually cheaper to walk in and buy from physcial stores still. For those Not in the Know Gerry has a Multi Million dollar empire and chucked it when everyone was importing games, dvds, computer and tv products and such. He and many other retailers wanted the Australian Government to introduce taxes (GST) on ALL imported products into the country (which is currently set at anything under $1000.00 is exempt from taxes). Needless to say everyone was not happy with him and co and they backed down pretty quick telling them to get with the times. Which he now has done competing with the likes of Play Asia and other online stores. Tho I still wish games were cheaper here as the US - AU dollar is at parity but yet we pay double or more for the same game. (I do understand that our wages have something in part of this but still). Sorry in advance if I broke any rules posting this.
