I'm 2 multitaps and 7 controllers away from this being able to happen. But then I need to make friends. Anyways has anybody here ever had a 10 player Saturn bomberman Battle Royale?
Yeah, I played a Bomberman tournament twice (there's one every year as part of a German forum meet) with 9 other players. It's a lot of fun, but also gets really messy really quick Lol.
We played it on a projector, but via rca/cinch. Mother of grainy picture quality God! Still, worked pretty well. I can be a bit of a hassle though if one controller is messed up. There can be problems with 3rd party controllers or if someone set their Hudson controller on autofire, but stuff like that is easily resolved. Can be weird if you don't know about this problem though.
As long as my mother works at Brown University I have access to several rooms with Projectors and I can't imagine playing Saturn Bomberman with 10 players any other way. I could also probably set something up at any of the buildings at my school currently. Since I have an S-Video Cable I doubt picture quality will be an issue. Before I forget is the Bomberman Multitap for the Saturn Rare these days? I want at least one of my multitaps to be a Bomberman Multitap.
I got a Bomberman multitap in really great condition from some store someone posted here a couple of years ago. Wish I could remember it, since they also had a Neo Geo pad for PS2.
The Bomberman multitap is less than the official Sega Multitap! AWESOME! How are the other Bomberman Saturn games?
It is easier for me to find someone to let me rent a lion or elephant for an afternoon than it would be to just simply touch a 50" TV capable of RGB.
What about online? I think there must be some emulators that can handle online matches. We could organize an assemblergames bomberman match!
Yeah I know but it could give a little taste By the way there're several talking softwares that we can use. The last one I used was paltalk or something like that LOL. Ages ago.
last I knew SFF didn't have netplay. It's a great emulator though and one of the deciding factors* in my getting a Saturn. It also improves load times by a large margin. At this point though we may as well just play Bomberman live.
THIS, at random it'll boot up a Regular bomberman game and the Sentai game that it's supposed to be. I own it and yet I still know nothing about it. anyways, Saturn Bomberman Fight doesn't look like complete utter ass as I've been told.
