I'm just wondering what some other folks think about these people/show because after watching it and seeing the crap they pull I think they should all be arrested for piracy.
Haven't seen it yet, but the commercials make it look like a bunch of self righteous yuppie pig shit. I'm assuming based on your reaction that it is indeed as bad as it looks.
I saw it last night. On the one hand I agree with you, it's pretty clear they do some shit that is criminal. The part that got me was when they were planning to board a Japanese spy ship and sabotage their communication equipment to stop them from relaying their position to the japanese whaling fleet. The decided they would do it, but other issues caused them to be unable to do it, but the fact that they would go through with that really bothered me. The "spy ship" was doing nothing more than being an observer, and to sabotage their communications seems very serious to me. They also talked about how they rammed some other boat in the past, and I saw an episode where they threw glass bottles with some nasty smelling crap on a Japanese ship deck to impair their ability to harvest whales. So I don't agree with the Japanese whaling there, they should be stopped. But I don't think a rogue ship of hooligans is the way it should happen. So basically bother sides should go fuck themselves.
not really. he was "kicked out" of greenpeace for doing shit this extreme i believe while i believe in some stuff these things stand for PETA, greenpeace and him are nothing really but "terrorists" to me
They are terrorists. and I'm disgusted that nobody is doing anything about them. Eventually these pirates will be killed when the piss the wrong fleet off in international waters.
