I use that function on my Onkyo amp, it's pretty cool, I suggest a device that has a web interface in the background, you don't want to set up all them radio stations manually Apart from a couple of buffering interuptions once in a while, it works really well. Heavy metal on tap Logitech seems to be the most popular brand for standalone Internet radios!
On mine you can select stations by genre, locations, I tend to like a few stations so I added them manually to the favourites list but then it can find similar stations for you too. I can give you a demo of my device, if you have Skype or a camera on Psn.
My friend bought one years ago when they were kind of new. It always worked perfectly and according to him almost never lost connection. You can safe stations and it has all the other features of a regular tuner.
