Not to mention the fact that none of those games hae dropped to a "budget" price yet (aside from the ape escape, i'm not sure what they would retail for). If you were to walk into a gamestop right now, R-Type Final would run you about $30 used, psychonauts would be $40 used. The only reason i bought R-type is because it's getting harder to find, otherwise i would just wait for a price drop. I've wanted to buy psychonauts since it was still being published by Microsoft, but haven't yet because it's too expensive for a single player game. If either game dropped to $20, they would sell out. It's the visious cycle of video games, weird titles don't sell well, so they aren't marketed, so they don't sell well... ad naseaum...

Yeah, i know. But it's quite a shame. Great games like Beyond Good and Evil, Psychonauts, Indigo Propecy, and so on, stay forgotten while shitty games sell.

I can't comment on prices, because i live in Brazil. Anything game related is expensive down here. Game Stores sell old Greatest Hits games for 60 dollars. Just imagine normal releases and new releases...
