For about 2 days, my DS lite had a noticeably different chime, when I turned it on. It was "tinnier", more of a ping, and lacked an echo. all other sounds remained normal. Has this ever happened to anyone? ( I was playing around with the calendar, to activate a (cheat) feature on an import title, but that seems coincidental at best)
Yeah, the startup chime is a higher pitch if it thinks it's your birthday. Your DS will also announce to everyone that it's your birthday when you join a Pictochat channel.
