The rules state that all price checks require a photo with your user name. There have been so many posts of late that don't comply with this - either having photos without the user name, photos of only some items or no photo whatsoever. Has this rule been relaxed, or does it still stand? In the past week, we have had: Posts without any photos: 6 Posts with photos without user name: 7 Posts with photos that are clearly not the user's: 2 Posts with a video without user name: 1 Total incorrect posts: 16 Correct posts: 3 Some of the above have been commented on during the past week, but are (much) older. It's a good sample of what to expect, though! It's also interesting to note user trends - one posted correctly a few weeks ago, but didn't include their user name in the photo when they made a second thread this week. Another user posted two threads probably on the same day, both without pictures. And another user posted two threads, one last year, both without their user name in the photo. Another thing - the two items that were clearly not the user's were two different situations. Firstly, there was an item that the user wanted to buy - perhaps from a friend, but maybe online. Obviously, the user can't get a proof photo. Secondly, there was an item that I would assume is a rarer item and the user perhaps wanted to buy one. Maybe the user hasn't seen one for sale, but would like to know what to be prepared to pay should one turn up. So... are the rules still valid? Are the above exceptions enough to warrant scrapping the rule, or should the rules say "pic if it's yours, state you're wanting to buy if not"? And are we allowed to post more than one price check thread (unlike the WTB thread)?
