having trouble with something

As some people know, a fan released a DC English version of Shenmue II with full audio quality a few years ago. It requires special CD-Rs to burn due to file size. I had to order 99 min discs from China and the batch turned out to be defective. My 100 min discs from the UK showed up today and I'm having the same problem burning it. I've tried the right settings with 3 different programs on 2 different computers. My model 1 DC just makes ugly clicking noises and my model 0 just sits on the spiral screen while trying to load the disc.

I asked all over the internet, including the sources, and no one is answering me. I'm a passionate Shenmue fan and I was really looking forward to this - I'm crushed. Can someone please help me figure this out? I have 3 discs left which is just enough because the 4th one can work on a 80 min disc.

 

Did you read the warnings over at theisozone.com? You can't just simply burn a 99 min disc. It depends on the burner as well. And most of the time it's a crapshoot.
