Is it possible to access an official HDD from the browser when booting FreeMcBoot? I was reading a guide at http://www.assemblergames.com/forum...-PS2-Games-directly-from-the-OSD(menu)-Update but remembered that the OSD cannot see the HDD when using Free McBoot. Any ways around this? It would be very neat to be able to launch HDL games directly from the OSD while using Free McBoot.
I'm afraid, that is Not possible. But you could Launch your homebrew from the hdd instead. But my Guide posted Here to Install homebrew is kinda broken.
Hey, um is it possible to run freeMCboot installer with a usb flash drive without the 007 agent under fire exploit? On a PS2 slim
How to Get HDD-OSD on almost all HDDs If you need to get HDD-OSD on a Non-Sony 40GB HDD try this "PSBBN 0.32 Eng for Non-Sony HDDs" It may be for Playstation BroadBand Navigator 0.32 in English but it is setup to boot HDD-OSD and if you like to use BB-Navi can you. and Pre-installed UlaunchELF 4.42b and OPL 0.8 1: PSBBN with English translation 2: Pre-installed multiple versions of DVD-players 4: preset PS1 games: bishi bashi special 3 (does not start, you need to make other PS1 games, not in any case do not delete!) 5: 3 versions of the preinstalled HDD OSD Software 6: Predustanalen Codebreaker Version 10 Do not use "Installation Method Number 2" it's for PSBBN 0.32 in Japanese only but for all HDD as well. If you can get this to work, you'll never need FreeMcBoot to load ELFs (and if you need to update UlaunchELF or OPL it just a ELF in the HDD)
