Hdmi output on PC engine

I was looking through my emails and I see a listing for a hdmi modded PC Duo. Whats the chances that the seller just crammed a scaler in to the pc duo case?

Not everyone takes picture of the insides of consoles, he might not have any.

if you are going to sell a pre modded console at least do a clean job of it :/

Looks like its composite upscaled to 1080p, I think if you blew it up over 42" you'll notice the artifacts a little more.

It does look like there's some dotcrawl on the blue letters on the Super CD-ROM screen. It could be the camera causing this look, so it could be RGB upscaled to HDMI using an external upscaler, but unless he built in an XRGB-mini it's going to look like crap regardless.

The cut-out for the HDMI-port is very well done though

Sure isn't I guess he used a too big drill to begin with.
