Hello all, I've lurked around these forums for a while now so I thought it would be a good time to join as I've renewed my interest in collecting video games consoles. I'm a big Nintendo fan and have been collecting ever since an advert (found on a Pokemon VHS tape) for Pokemon Red/Blue and Pokemon Stadium introduced me to the Nintendo 64. Despite the console being about ten years old at the time I still wanted one! I managed to get one with a controller and RF leads for only £4.00 at a flea market! Between 2006-2011 I've collected most of Nintendo's consoles (including the Virtual Boy, a sometimes difficult console to find in the UK) from the NES to the Wii U. Also I have Playstation and Playstation 2. My first Nintendo console was the Game Boy Advance which was given to me as a Christmas present in 2001. Now I would like to branch out from Nintendo and look at buying a Dreamcast and an original Xbox. I also collect vintage Apple computers which has lead me to learn how to solder. This skill has recently enabled me install a fan into my Nintendo 64 and perform the 60Hz mod on my SNES. I wish to learn more about the mods that can be done on these consoles.
