Looks like a NPDP-GBOX, is that what it says under the dolphin?

GBOX = debug
GDEV = dev

It needs a pc host card which is impossible to find.

Price suck right now, $100-150 for the gbox, $150-400 for gdev
It's really up to luck, you could get them here from mborman for $150 or so
when he was trying to sell his and it took him forever.

Have any cartridges? If so pm me.

Pretty much, that is why they sell for so little. The carts cost more than the unit does.

Sorry posting on my phone not sure why it posted twice no I don't have any carts at the moment but I would like one even if it was blank.

I'll look at it when I get in and see what it say on it.

Thanks for your help so far

Nope sorry. But I do have an NPDP-Cartridge sitting in the NPDP-SW on my desk that still needs to be checked to see what it contains...

So, are you the source of ALL dev hardware, or just most? :)

EDIT:

I can't seem to find any info on the NDPD-SW. It looks like a trimmed down GBOX, but what does it do?

Nevermind: From eBay:
NPDP SW for Writing a single NPDP Cartridge

NPDP-SW is a high-speed writer capable of writing the data of an optical disc image to a
single NPDP cartridge.

The NPDP-GBOX does not use an ODEM. It debugs just fine over RS-232/ DB9 to any supporting host computer.

The ODEM PCI card is used for Optical Disc Emulation (on the PC side),and it corresponds with an extra card inside the target box, which the GDEV has and the GBOX lacks. That is their only difference, and even then you can probably add a card inside your GBOX to turn it into a GDEV, provided you can find a spare.

Game "cartridges" (HDDs with an SH3 and a couple of other tricks) can be played just fine if you adjust the switches (before booting, careful!!) just as they would on an NPDP-Reader (pictured in Assembler's avatar) with the difference being that the NPDP-Reader does not support real time debug information without the use of an add-on at the bottom..very rare shit.

If you're talking about the NPDP-SW unit that was on ebay 2-3 months ago, I don't know who bought it....I bought mine a year ago but had it stored in SoCal until E3 this summer when I brought it home. I paid less for the NPDP-SW + NPDP-Cartridge than what just the NPDP-SW on ebay sold for so I'm happy =)
