Hello from a lurker that finally registered!

Hi all,

I'm Ben, UK, been visiting assemblr for ages to download interesting bits and read advice to others, finally made an account (because I need some advice myself!)

I do some console modding, repairs and collecting. Mostly work on the original Xbox, but I have a few other older systems like a SCPH-1002 and a GameCube, as well as both the newer Xboxes!

Hoping to expand to a few more platforms in the near future. I grew up on the Master System so one of those and maybe a Dreamcast are definitely on my list.

Anyway, I'll see y'all on the forums I guess

 

Hello! I need to find good Master System games to play. It's one of those consoles I have next to no exposure to. Any recommendations?

Ha well I had one in the 90's when I was <10, only ever had about 6 games from what I remember!

I did love "The Ninja" - short, difficult, but pretty cool. Have ok memories of a game called Global Gladiators too which was a McDonalds platformer a lot like M.C. Kids on the NES. But yeh, I might not be the person to ask I'm afraid!

I haven't done anything that impressive, mostly internal stuff (chips, RAM upgrades, adding AV outs etc). If I ever get my current personal project done I'll be sure to post it though, has a few more interesting parts... hopefully it'll turn out decent!
