Hi, I've been browsing the forum for some time and loving seeing what old and rare items you guys have collected. I was a big gamer in the 90s and ended up working as a games journalist for many years, so I get a good nostalgia kick reading about all the old games. I also feel a bit sick about how many pre-production games and development consoles I used to have stacked up on my desk, and how most of them probably ended up in a skip. Partly because I could have bought a house by selling them all off today but more that I can see how passionate you guys are about collecting, recording and saving classic games for posterity, and how interesting some of the unfinished and unreleased games I played would be to you all now. I've sold off a bunch of items from my collection as I'm rapidly running out of space but have kept a few cool items. I'll try to share pics and info with you. If I have any interesting anecdotes to share on games you guys are talking about I'll try to chip in too. It was a fun time in my life and I was madly passionate about games - particularly Sega stuff. Today's games mostly appear to involve a man hiding behind a broken brick wall with a machine gun, so I don't really play much these days. I wish I had more time and the energy to dig through everything that's coming out to find the hidden gems, but for me one GTA game every five years is enough to keep me going!
What you say about today's games and the GTA series is so true that I just had to comment here. Welcome aboard
