Greetings all, atarimaster here. Ive been collecting games for about a year now though I had a good head start on my collection from saving my games over the years. Ive been playing for about as long as I can remember and spent many childhood hours on the 2600(though most kids my age were playing NES at this point). I have a rather small collection of about:

    PC - 14 Games
    Xbox - 6 Games
    Xbox 360 - 3 Games
    PS2 - 3 Games
    PS3 - 6 Games
    PS1 - 15 Games
    SNES - 3 Games
    Genesis - 15 Games
    Dreamcast - 18 Games
    NES - 72 Games
    Atari 2600 - 41 Games
    Atari 7800 - 2 Games

Also a few scattered Gameboy and Gameboy advanced games. I would be happy to snap some pictures of my game and console collection as it is right now if anyone would like to see more. As the numbers probably make clear I prefer older games. I am also really into emulation and like to build MAME machines. I have lots of experience with libretro and love tinkering with it. Looking forward to learning even more cool stuff from here!

Welcome to the forums! I personally would like to see your NES and Atari collections, sounds like you've got quite a few games.

Are these Atari 2600 games boxed ? I have only few Atari games, but it was my wifes first system, so we still have it under our TV :)
Also do have some Atari 2600 prototypes as well. Just need to dig them up.

    Welcome here btw :)

Thanks for the reply's! I will take some pics and upload them today. For the Atari collection I only have missle command boxed(I have an unboxed copy as well) but everything else is loose. A large majority of my Atari collection is from my parents picking the games up for me at yard sales when I was very young so most of them didnt come in box. Im working on getting boxes for the NES and Atari sets but its a tiny but lower on my priority list than getting more games to enjoy playing. Im thinking about starting to hunt for just the boxes though and maybe picking 1-2 up a week until I start filling out the boxed collections

Nice collection ! Everything needed to have a great gaming time.

What is the gold NES Cartridge ?

The Arcade control panel looks great ! I am also looking to build a complete Mame arcade cabinet. I just don't know if I start from the begining or if I use one of the Arcade cabinet I have. But I want this cabinet to be easily moveable and very light. So aluminium and light and Fake wood paneling will be a good option.

    Thanks for the picts btw.

No problem at all, the gold cars is one of the 'quatro' 4 game carts. I forgot the names of the game off the top of my head but I will check when I get home from work. I got really lucky and all the games on it were actually really fun! The control panel was a really fun build. I actually built it to start getting better at woodworking so I can build a full cabinet from scratch. Turns out designing and building this stuff is a lot more time consuming than I though xD I still plan on building a full cabinet I just need to sit down in CAD and draw out the design, get the materials and spend a weekend or two building it.

Thank for the information about the gold cart.

And yes, building an arcade cabinet from scratch takes time. The cabinet I am planning to make will have less curves as possible as I am really not good at woodworking.

In case you wanted some more info on that gold cart lol here is a picture and a link to the info about it. I highly recommend it 3/4 games I would consider to be great NES hidden gems and the cart is very cheap.
