Hi all. I've been lurking here for a while soaking up information. I'm interested in classic consoles and learning how to do some simple mods. So far I've done an S-Video mod on one of my Genesis systems, and a complete region mod on another. (as well as wire it up to connect to my Commodore 1084 for RGB) and AV modded my sister's top-loader NES. My favorite game of all time is Ys Book I & II on the Turbo Duo. I'm quite fond of 4th generation consoles but I have lots of other common systems. The Duo is the most exotic system I have. I'm also interested in Astronomy and sometimes I do some sidewalk astronomy and outreach events.
Ah, sweet. Are there any cool places to get games in Madison? I've been meaning to go back there sometime.
I don't usually have any luck at thrift stores. There is a Pre Played store on both the East and West sides. I think they price by ebay prices though. I was told there is a place called Video Game X-Change around but I haven't been able to get there yet.
