@ Zach. have you had any experience at this? or better still, do you have expertise in electronic repair? .. it's a difficult job desoldering that cartridge socket from the motherboard! (the link is legitimate, it's a known method of repair) pass the console on to somebody with experience in repairs, it's NOT the sort of thing you can practice with. get it right FIRST TIME or it's bust! talk to a friend IRL, ask if they can fix it? show them the link posted on the response above. in any case, good luck to getting it fixed!
^^ (i was thinking of something else) apologies, was thinking of another cartridge socket! @ Zach. looked at the clip and it's easier than i expected.. STILL, talking to somebody about it IRL would be the correct course of action. if you're confident you can do it (doesn't appear that difficult) go for it, but the first doubt you have, listen to you instincts first! :friendly_wink:
Unless you really know what you're doing in a ventilated area and don't wish to poison your family and ruin your stove, find another way of cleaning your pin connector. http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/nesmaintenance/nesmaintenance.htm
